5 Reasons an ONLINE YTT is for YOU

When the COVID-19 pandemic shifted seemingly everything online, Yoga Alliance allowed for registered Yoga Teacher Trainings (YTT) to be facilitated 100% in the virtual space.

At Anuttara, we do everything we can to make our programs and training widely accessible and with this opportunity to expand online, we are able to share these potent teachings with even more people. We are able to share them with YOU!

Read to the end for some additional bonuses you hadn't thought of before.

1. You can't take time off

In-person trainings require a serious time commitment.

Whether it's work, school, family life, or any culmination of commitments you have at home, a month-long onsite intensive just doesn't work for you right now.

With an online YTT, you are able to deepen into your practice and expand your knowledge of Yoga without taking time away from anything or anyone.

2. You have dependants

When other beings rely on your care, traveling can bring up a number of obstacles.

Many of our online students are parents or caretakers of some kind. The opportunity to learn, practice, and teach from home is a realistic way you can take this next step in your spiritual journey - AND share it with your loved ones if you choose.

3. In-person training is too pricey

Online training is significantly cheaper than onsite.

When a YTT happens online, the cost of food, accommodation and travel are removed. The online version of our registered 200h training offers you some breathing room with its affordable nature.

Our online YTT is also offered on a sliding scale with regular, supporting, and sustaining options so you can pay what works for your unique situation.

4. You're busy!

You've got a lot going on. You're seeking a yoga & meditation teacher training to help equip you with the tools you need to rest in the presence of the heart amidst the go-go-go nature of your daily life.

You simply don't have the time for an intensive training. You like to take things at your own pace and go with the flow of your day without the pressure of deadlines.

Lucky for you, our online YTT is self-paced and you have an entire year to finish the course.

I truly feel that I am a better person having done this training. For Anuttara to achieve what they do remotely is a truly special talent. - Karly, Online YTT graduate

5. You want DIRECT integration

Taking a yoga & meditation teacher training onsite is an intensive retreat. The meals are prepared for you, you live in spiritual community, and your days are filled with theory and practice. This type of immersion can be beneficial in many ways, though when students arrive back home, integration can pose challenges.

With an online training, you are steeping in the depth and beauty of Yoga, merging the practices and philosophy with your everyday routine in real-time. You have the opportunity to contemplate and integrate immediately.

Your practice becomes part of your routine and the philosophy is directly integrated into your work, relationships, and daily life. PLUS, you have the support of teachers and community through weekly zoom meetings and 1-on-1 communication with facilitators.

Overall I met great people, had great teachers and have a ton of tools for my daily practice that I can use and share with others. - Megan, Online YTT graduate

BONUS:

In addition to being able to remain in your daily life, take care of dependants, cut the travel costs, and integrate teachings directly, with the online training, you also have access to the material indefinitely.

This means that you will be able to move through the guided asana, pranayama, yoga nidra, and meditation sessions for years to come. You will be able to return to that philosophy talk that really spoke to you, and reference how to teach that asana you sometimes forget.

Still not sure if it's right for you? Book a call with us to discuss your unique situation!

This urge to learn from you is not like a feeling one gets while binge watching Netflix. It is a feeling you get when you taste clean, nourishing water and want to drink more and more. - Natalia, Online YTT graduate
