Cacao is a natural plant medicine that has been used for centuries to open the heart and connect with our innermost being. During a heart-focused cacao ceremony, participants can expect to experience a release of mental tendencies and a deep sense of euphoria, bliss, and love.

The ceremonies with Artemis are structured in such a way to help you open the heart to receive and express love, find deep healing, clear mental and physical blockages. Ultimately, a cacao ceremony focused on the heart can help us to quiet the mind so that we can listen to what the heart is calling us to do and how we can live in alignment with our purpose.

All ceremonies are conducted in a a trauma-informed manner and in safe and supportive spaces. Additionally, the ceremony can help to cultivate a sense of self-love, self-acceptance, and self-empowerment.

Meditate with the Tulum Ruins

The Tulum Ruins are truly a sight to behold! Located on the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, these ancient Mayan ruins are a stunning reminder of the incredible culture and history of the region. From the breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea to the intricate details of the ruins themselves, it's no wonder why Tulum has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Mexico. With a local tour guide, we will learn more about the history and meditate with these ancient ruins.

Cenote & Temazcal

Together we will participate in a traditional Mayan Temazcal (sweat lodge) guided by a local Mayan shaman.  After an incredible experience in the Temazcal, you can take a dip in the onsite cenote. This combination of heat and freshwater is said to purify the pores of your skin and instantly improve your health. The cenote is a perfect way to cool off and relax after the intense heat of the Temazcal.

Cenotes are natural sinkholes found in Mexico and Central America, and the ancient Mayans have long revered them for their healing powers. Cenotes are believed to be portals to the underworld, and the Mayans believed that by swimming in them, they could connect to the spiritual realm and find healing.

Swimming in cenotes can be a powerful experience. The water is very clean and clear, and the feeling of being submerged in the depths of the earth can be very calming and healing.

Mantra

Mantra japa is the practice of repeating a mantra, or sacred phrase, as a form of meditation. Mantra is a powerful tool that can be used to awaken kundalini; the spiritual energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine.

Awakening kundalini energy can be a powerful and transformative experience. When we awaken this energy, it can help us to become more connected to our spiritual selves and to the universe. It can help us to become more aware of our true potential and to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life. It can also help us to gain insight into our own inner wisdom and to be more in tune with our intuition. Awakening Kundalini can help us to live in alignment with our purpose and to manifest.

Kirtan and chanting mantras as a group can be a powerful and uplifting experience. Kirtan is a form of devotional chanting in which a group of people sings mantras to invoke spiritual energy.

The practice of kirtan and chanting mantras as a group can have many benefits. It can help to reduce stress and anxiety, as the repetition of the mantra can be calming and meditative. It can also help to promote positive emotions, such as joy and peace, as the collective energy of the group can be uplifting. Additionally, mantras can help us to release negative self-talk.

Nature & Jungle

Being in nature has long been known to have a calming effect on the human mind and body. The sights, sounds, and smells of the natural world can provide a sense of peace and tranquility that can help to reduce stress and anxiety. In addition to the physical benefits, being in nature can also provide spiritual and grounding benefits.

The jungle is a particularly powerful place to experience the calming and spiritual benefits of nature. The lushness of the foliage, the sounds of the birds and animals, and the smell of the air can all combine to create a sense of peace and connection with the natural world. The jungle can also provide a sense of grounding, as the vastness of the environment can help to put life’s worries and problems into perspective.
