Mindfulness Meditation Retreat

 

This is may be referred to by some as a 'beginners' retreat as it is short and simple; however, we feel that everyone deserves to experience the liberation and peacefulness that can be brought through mindfulness. This is a 3-day retreat and it will focus on mindfulness as perceived by the Buddhist tradition, and will also include an introduction into sitting and walking meditation. 

 

The meditation practices will be conducted more like a workshop.  Meditation will range from 15 - 30 minutes long, depending on each individuals comfort level.  Teaching time is short and a lot of personal time is provided during this retreat for self reflection, to sit and write, or to go on a walk and simply connect with nature.  Participants will practice noble silence (speaking only when necessary with no idle talk) for the entire duration of the retreat starting on Friday evening and going until Sunday evening.

Individual cabin - $450

Shared cabin - $350

Dormitory -  $250

Tent - $200


These costs include the cost of 3 meals and unlimited tea.  

Donations for the teacher are extra.
