Intensive Kundalini Sadhana Retreat
July 13 - 16, 2017
This retreat is aimed with the intent of purifying the various structures of the body. It also prepares the being for opening towards deeper states of meditation, getting the system in resonance with Shakti, which in turn gives a greater understanding and fulfillment towards living a more harmonious and prosperous life.
Two Focuses of the Retreat:
1) The realm of right-handed Tantra (non-sexual), we use multiple traditional tantric ways of purifying. This prepares the being and increases energy (Shakti) in the body, mind and spirit.
Samskara-s: herbal body treatment; composed sometimes of up to 100 different herbs, some of which are very rare and therefore very costly. These herbal treatments are made and blessed by our teacher (Guruji Raj Kumar) and brought specially for this occasion from India.
Yagna: Ancient Sacred fire ceremony. This assists in fixing the energies within the system.
Yantra: geometrical representations of manifested pure universal energies.
Mantra: mental repetition of a formula of words (in this case in Sanskrit).
In this particular sadhana (spiritual practice) process will be working with the purifications and building of the energies of Kundalini. All elements we use, will be to help the process of awakening Kundalini. Allowing it to come forth harmoniously with integration.
2) The second aspect practiced will be a more Agama/Hridaya (energy/heart based) practise. Time will be spent:
Meditating on the heart
Practising Hridaya/Agama styled yoga Asana (a more meditative style that helps to raise and sublimate energies)
Meditation on non-duality, or Shiva consciousness
talks on sublimation and heart based consciousness
This is retreat is called an intensive because participants will often experience shifts in one of or all of their five bodies (mental, physical, emotional, energetic or causal). Often things will come up for individuals practising something of this intensity that may have otherwise remained repressed or unnoticed. It should be known that whatever may arise you will be surrounded by supportive teachers who are will hold space and guide you through your own personal process.
